Self Centering Your Energy
Get Self Centered.
Self-centering is a technique I use daily on myself and for clients, even if they aren’t aware of it. I sense energy, even at a distance. I am not around all of the time, so here are ideas for you to do any time of day.
How to tell if you need a self-centering moment.
1- Are you feeling ‘off’ ?
2- Do your ideas swirl without action for days on end?
3- Do you have issues staying asleep or falling asleep?
4- Have you been taking steps and tripping or falling or stubbing a tow?
Have you answered yes to any of these questions, I’m prescribing an Energy Self-Centering. You don’t need a fancy degree to do this.
Self- centering aka —>Breaking it down
Step 1- Scan, Sit or lay down, uncross your hands or ankles
As you breathe fluidly, without holding your breath, feel your head, torso and legs with great detail.
Do you notice heat, cool, tingling, pain? It’s all information.
Step 2- Let’s reframe any fear you have of doing this exercise. Whatever you notice, it’s just info. If you take the Reiki, “just for today” mentality, consider having a better day or sleeping better after seeing where you are off balance. Do not have fear, pause or even thoughts of craziness (you’ve done crazier things than breathing and doing a self-body scan.), allow to come and go. Remember: This is not a big deal but can save you a lot of headaches (literal and otherwise).
Step 3- Center. Picture a time when you felt wonderful. Overlay that onto the part of the body that feels like (*#&$!. You can picture yourself in a new location or a warm ball of love radiating into that spot. Take the next 5 minutes to mother that part of your body. Once you send all this love inward, go back into the world with a centered self.
I can’t wait to hear how different you feel in under 10 mins.
