Career Vitals

As we fill up our calendars with responsibilities in adulthood, anything on autopilot moves along with seeming ease. Careers, after decades of cranking out work, go into neutral.

Have you considered…

What mode do you want to be in? No one can tell you the answer. It’s incredibly personal. more importantly if you don’t know this answer your work can feel off kilter.

Like heading to the doctor for your physical exam or a preventative scan you are hoping for a healthy green light. Can you say the same about your work and how you pay the bills? Would you give yourself an all clear.

Perhaps, after taking your vitals, you notice you are in an okay place and  coasting mode makes sense.

Or if you are wanting to up the blood pressure, consider an adjustment.  Or reconfirming that you want to make a move but it’s bad timing to get that increase, planning for a post inflation cycle industry shift.

It takes 8-12 months for women with over 12 years of experience to find the right role. You can find a job tomorrow but it would likely be unaligned.
